  • 1967 Gymnasium in Belgrade
  • 1967-68 studied at the UNIVERSITE DE AIX EN PROVENCE, Langue et Civilisation Francaise
  • 1974 graduated from the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade, Department of World Literature with the Theory of Literature, average grade 9.61/10.00
  • 1974-75 UNIVERSITE PARIS-SORBONNE, Langue at civilisation francaise, continuing of studies
  • 1976 MA at the Faculty of Philology, Department of World Literature with the Theory of Literature, the thesis: Character Development in Strindgberg’s Dramas
  • 1976-77 doctoral studies in the field of drama and theatre at the ANN ARBOR UNIVERSITY, USA, as a Fulbright fellow
  • 1978-79 continuing of doctoral studies at the YALE UNIVERSITY, YALE SCHOOL OF DRAMA as a scholarship beneficiary of the American Association University Women. Started to work at her doctoral thesis under the mentorship of Jan Kott.
  • 1991 PhD at the Faculty of Political Sciences, Belgrade, entitled Political Celebrations in the Light of the Theory of Political Culture

1999-01 leader, lecturer and coordinator of the Religious Studies programme at the Alternative Academic Network in Belgrade. As a lecturer at the same institution, participated in the programme Myth and Ritual

2001 elected Associate Professor for the course Theory of Culture, Faculty of Political Sciences, Belgrade
