Савремено решавање сукоба

Циљеви изучавања предмета

Циљ је да се у складу са савременим правцима развоја научне дисциплине студије мира, критички изложе нови приступи и методе решавања сукоба након окончања блоковске поделе света и појаве нових изазова миру. Поред анализе нових приступа решавању сукоба, предмет подразумева указивање како на тенденције и проблеме које удаљавају свет од освајања чврстих претпоставки мира, тако и на оне које могу поспешити, увећати изгледе мира. Указаће се и на конкретне узроке, актере и процесе који неизвесности мира увећавају или умањују у пост-хладноратовском периоду. Сама природа предмета подстакнуће критичко мишљење студената и увећати њихову аналитичку способност како за разумевање развоја студија мира и теорија решавања сукоба, тако и за разумвање нових глобалних процеса. Све то ће допринети њиховом овладавању претпоставкама за самостални истраживачки рад.

Исходи учења (стечена знања)

Исход којем се тежи је да се увећају аналитичке способности студената за разумевања кључних проблема који у данашњем свету увећавају неизвесности мира, али и за откривање нових теоријских и практичних могућности за превладавање дилема које се јављају као последица завршетка хладног рата и промене парадигме у међународним односима. Тиме ће се појаснити дилеме и избори пред којим се налазе појединци, државе, свет када је у питању решавање сукоба ненасилним методама, подцртати професионална одговорност и важност креативног приступа изложеним проблемима.
