Biografija
Dr Nikola Jović (1985) je istraživač i docent na Univerzitetu u Beogradu - Fakultet političkih nauka. Doktorsku disertaciju na temu ,,Uloga emocija u donošenju odluka: Kritika teorije racionalnog izbora" odbranio je na Univerzitetu u Beogradu 2021. godine. Osnovne studije Međunarodnih odnosa i Master studije Međunarodne politike takođe je završio na Fakultetu političkih nauka. Bio je polaznik letnje škole European Forum Alpbach, kao i stipendista State Department programa SUSI – Study of the United States Summer Institute. Proveo je određeni istraživački period na Ohio State University i University of Massachusetts. Osim predavačkog rada, intenzivno se bavi i istraživačkim radom i političkim konsaltingom. Sproveo je više od 150 istraživačkih projekata za kompanije, nevladine organizacije, međunarodne institucije, akademske institucije, ambasade i političke stranke. Njegova akademska interesovanja primarno leže u oblasti kvantitativnih i kvalitativnih istraživačkih metoda, upravljanja političkim kampanjama i uticaja emocija na donošenje političkih odluka.
Biography
Ph.D. Nikola Jovic (1985) is a researcher and Assistant Professor at the University of Belgrade - Faculty of Political Science, Serbia. He defended his Ph.D. thesis on the topic of "The Role of Emotions in Decision Making” at the University of Belgrade in 2021. He completed his Bachelor's degree in International Relations and his Master's degree in International Politics at the Faculty of Political Science as well. He was a participant in the European Forum Alpbach Summer School and a grantee of the U.S. State Department program SUSI – Study of the United States Summer Institute. He spent part of his research period at Ohio State University and the University of Massachusetts. In addition to teaching, he is actively engaged in research and political consulting. He has conducted more than 150 research projects for companies, NGOs, think tanks, international institutions, academic institutions, embassies, and political parties. His academic interests primarily lie in the field of quantitative and qualitative research methods, political campaign management, and the influence of emotions on political decision-making.
