Позив на онлајн скуп ‚‚Јачање безбедности кроз образовање: случај студирања тематике непролиферације, контроле наоружања и разоружања”
Поштоване колегинице и колеге,
Центар за непролиферацију, контролу наоружања и разоружање Струковног удружења сектора безбедности организује скуп под називом ‚‚Јачање безбедности кроз образовање: случај студирања тематике непролиферације, контроле наоружања и разоружања”, који ће се одржати у четвртак 20. маја 2021. године, са почетком у 11 часова преко платформе Zoom.
Скуп је, пре свега, намењен студентима свих нивоа студија, а част нам је да као говорнике угостимо Dr. Niklasa Schörniga (PRIF) и Ms. Maru Zarka (VCDNP).
Циљ скупа је да укаже на значај изучавања тематике непролиферације, контроле наоружања и разоружања и допринос који Европска унија пружа у овом правцу.
Скуп ће бити одржан на енглеском језику.

CENTRE FOR NON-PROLIFERATION, ARMS CONTROL AND DISARMAMENT of the Professional Association of Security Sector is organizing event “Strengthening security through education: the case of non-proliferation, arms control and disarmament studying”, to be held on Thursday, 20 May 2021 at 11.00 am via Zoom. The meeting is primarly aimed at students of all levels of studies and it is our pleasure to host Dr. Niklas Schörnig (PRIF) and Mrs. Mara Zarka (VCDNP). Special emphasizes of this meeting is on the importance of studying the issues of non-proliferation, arms control and disarmament and the role and contribution of the European Union in this domain. Meeting will be held in English language.
Dr. Niklas Schörnig, Senior Researcher in the International Security Research Department and Deputy Chairman of the Research Council, Head of Research Group at the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt. His expertise include Emerging Technologies, Order and Stability (rETOS) as well as American and European Arms Industry, Revolution in Military Affairs and Marketing of Arms Industry. He has published more than 80 publications which include articles on the transformation of war in 21st century, artificial intelligence in the military, cyber an unmanned warfare and is author of the Learning Unit 15 of the EU Consortium eLearning Course on Emerging Technologies.
Ms. Mara Zarka is Project/Events Manager and Research Associate at the VCDNP. She is responsible for the management and coordination of the VCDNP’s projects under the EU Non-Proliferation and Disarmament Consortium. Her research interests include export controls, IAEA safeguards and verification, non-proliferation and arms control. She is author of a new eLearning unit number 16 on the EU Non-Proliferation and Disarmament eLearning Course funded by the European Union.
