Announcement: The forthcoming 2nd WIP Digital Sociology Workshop
The International Sociological Association’s (ISA) Thematic Group 10 (TG10) Digital Sociology is hosting the 2nd Work-in-Progress (WIP) Digital Sociology Workshop as part of its planned continuing education offerings.
This hybrid (in-person and online) event will take place at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Political Sciences, auditorium 7, on December 14 and 15, 2023.
During the two-day work, according to the publicized agenda, the eight participating international doctoral students and early-career researchers will present and receive feedback on their inquiries into the various issues of an emerging global digital society from eight internationally renowned scientists in the world’s dynamic field of digital sociology. The presented and discussed papers in the stimulating workshop environment should be shaped through supportive advice for publication in internationally categorized journals. Paper givers were selected in a competitive call announced in issue 220 of the International Sociological Association’s ISAGRAM news on September 1, 2023.
The Serbian Sociological Association, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia, and the hosting University of Belgrade Faculty of Political Sciences are co-sponsors of this International Sociological Association TG10 Digital Sociology Workshop.
Due to the limited number of seats in Auditorium 7, those interested in attending in person are kindly invited to inform the Presiding Chair of the Workshop General Chairs Committee, professor Jelica Stefanović-Štambuk, via an email addressed to 2wipworshop.digitalsociology@gmail.com, no later than 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.
