International Summer School for European students and researchers in Gorizia/Italy

We are reaching out to you as we would like to invite students enrolled in your degree course to take part in the International Summerschool for European students and researchers: history, languages and border cultures.

As part of Nova Gorica/Gorizia being the 2025 European Capital of Culture, The Kulturhaus Görz association is organising an intensive programme for European students. It offers selected humanities students and researchers the opportunity to take part in the event, free of charge.

The programme will be held in Gorizia from the 9th to the 13th of September 2024.

The Summerschool aims to explore themes around the multilingual history of Gorizia through workshops, seminars with university lecturers, guided tours and excursions in the area and meetings with Italian students.

This project is part of Thousand years of History in the center of Europe: Borgo castello crossroads of people and cultures, funded by the European Union with funds from Next generation EU.
